He is survived by: his wife Catherine Maher-Hermsen; his sons, Frank Hermsen IV, Danny Maher (Heather) and Dustin Maher (Danielle); his grandchildren, David, Matthew, Erik, Bo, Caleb, Charlie and Corrine; his sister Marion Trief (Harold); his mother-in-law Molly Jansen; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ison (Danny) and Chris Sabatelli.
