He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman Owens and Merle Owens (Finkhousen); his siblings, Waldo Owens, Marvin Owens, Marlin Owens, Donald Owens, Robert and Vivian Bowers; and his great grandchild Vivian Elizabeth Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Iva Lou Owens (Laukhuf); his children, Brad Owens (Marsha) of Convoy, Stan Owens (Susan) of Convoy and Kevan Owens (Susan) of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Travis Owens (Miriam), Jared Owens (Sara), Greg Owens (Kim), Julie Moir (Chris), Ashley Owens, Laura Bowen (Frankie) and Nathan Owens; his siblings, Marjorie Hoblet of Convoy, Juanita Christian (Norman) of Convoy and Doyt Owens of Convoy; and his sister-in-law Joyce Owens of Van Wert. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
Memorial donations in memory of Mr. Owens will be made to Riley's Children Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana or Sugar Ridge Church of God, Convoy, Ohio.
