He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl A. Corson and Grace Corson; and his wife Susan Corson. He is survived by: his children, Kevin P. Childress (Dawn) and Stephanie Dole (Matthew); his grandchildren, Brian P. (Mirtha), Joseph, Sean Childress, Matthew Jr., George Henry, Lucy, Mary-Frances, Leo, Isabella, Charlie, Charlotte Dole, Alex Dole (Stephanie) and Margaret Demel (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Nicholas Childress, Haylie, Bentley, Sophie Kern, Vivian and Violet Demel; and his parents-in-law, James A Sheppard (June), David A. Sheppard (Nancy) and Linda Oulette (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Crosby Township Historical Society or the Yeager-Benson Memorial American Legion Post 199 (new roof project.).
