He is survived by: his wife Marianne McElroy; his children, John McElroy (Teri), Margie Hart (Doug), Sheila Weber (late Mike), Maribeth Ballard (Daniel), Dan McElroy (Chrissy) and Mike McElroy; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Chelsea McElroy, Ron, Nick, Mike Weber, Danny, Davis Ballard, Joey, Caroline and Nathan McElroy; and his siblings, Virginia Behymer, Tom and Jim McElroy.
