We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Cornelius Jonas (Harrison, Ohio), born in Cedar Grove, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jonas and Frances Jonas; his brother Charles Jonas; and his siblings-in-law, Dale Viel, Betty Jonas and Jean Jonas.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jonas; his children, Mary Ann Heimkreiter (Jerry), Philip Jonas (Brenda), Matthew Jonas (Leah), Mark Jonas (Danielle) and Daniel Jonas (India); his grandchildren, Todd (Emily), Bradley (Colby), Brandon (Jessica), Andrew, Frank, Nathan, Wyatt, Jonah, Eli, Isaiah, Kyle, Anna, Jane, Mary Beth, Emma, Ellie and Mya; his great grandchildren, Vivian Rose, Vera Mae, Lucy Lynn, Emmett, Bennett and Shepard; and his siblings, Rita Viel, Mary May (Jerome), John Jonas and Margaret Betscher (Jim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul, Honor Flight or Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund through the funeral home.
