He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Thurston and Betty Thurston. He is survived by: his significant other Teresa; his son Brian W. Thurston Jr.; his friend Teresa Thurston; his children, Brandy (Brandon Walker) and Cody Woods; his grandsons, Joseph W. "Wesley" Black and Jackson Walker; and his siblings, Eric Thurston (Chris), Scott Thurston (Amy) and Vicky Thurston. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society in Brian's memory, honoring the spirit of a man who brought light and joy to those lucky enough to know him.
