He was predeceased by: his father Richard (Dick); his siblings, Laura Jean and Larry; and his father-in-law Fujio Ito. He is survived by: his wife Noriko; his children, Alex and Momoka; his mother Frances; his siblings, Sue Lucas of Mt, Gary of Orient and Brian of Orient; his mother-in-law Shizue Ito; his brother-in-law Masaaki Ito (Asami) of Yokohama; his nieces, Laura Lilly (Terry), Ashlea Many and Aubrey Lilly Many; his nephew Tsuzuya Ito; and also, Sterling, Japan and Aunts. He is also survived by friends. Allen was a 1978 graduate of Madison Plains High School. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1981 where he served for 26 years before retiring with the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2007. While in the US Navy, Allen was stationed for much of his time in Yokohama, Japan where he met he wife.
