He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Haag and Minnie Haag (Stroud); and his siblings, Doris Willison, Frank Haag and Harley Haag.

He is survived by: his wife Doris A. Haag; his children, Kim Love-Smith (Chris), Gary Bradlee Haag and Rick Haag (Michele); his grandchildren, Angela Wilson (Ben), Sarah Smith (Richard), Gary Smith (Buddy), Sean Casto (Cierra) and Lyndsi Aneal; his great grandchildren, Marshal Johnston, Levi Wilson, Donovan Gilpen, Jace Casto, Josie Smith and Hunter Walker; his sisters, Rosemary Ayle, Grace Stage and Janet Daubert (Don); his sister-in-law Jerry Emrick; and his close friends, Glenda Sheets and Ray Holland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
