Fischer and Pauline Fischer (Raybould); his wife Phyllis; his daughters, Judith Fischer, Beth Brown (Roger) and Lori Rohn (Norm); his grandchildren, Brandon, Jennifer, Sara, Steven, Justin, Matthew, Kellyn and Timothy; his brother James Fischer (Carolee); his brother-in-law Keith Berry (Pam); his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Fischer. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
