He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Witte and Emilie Witte (Schuette); his wife Mary Alice; his daughter Donna Witte; his siblings, Lorenz Witte (Alma), Leonhard Witte (Edna), Lillian Fitzenreiter (Eldor) and Lula Rickenberg (Walter); and his brother-in-law Edwin Seedorf.
He is survived by: his children, Helen Witte, Joan Von Deylen (John), William "Bill" Witte, David Witte, Linda Kadesch (Gary) and Sandra Updike (Edward); and his sister Loretta Seedorf. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Lutheran Church.
