She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Badenhop and Loueda Badenhop (Bostelman); her husband Ronald Sonnenberg; her brothers-in-law, Lawrence Sonnenberg (Pauline), Chuck Schroeder and Bill Allen; and her niece Gretchen Badenhop Myers.

She is survived by: her siblings, Karen Schroeder and Roger Badenhop; her sisters-in-law, Vivian Allen and Roseanne Dehnke (Jerry); and her nieces and nephews, Paula Himburg (Steve), Pam Zenk (Dave), Brent Allen, Kim Roth (Cris), Andy Fouts, Tony Fouts (Jill), Kevin Badenhop and Micah Badenhop (Sarah).

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Allen County Hospice, or the Filling Home of Mercy.
