He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whitman and Louise Whitman (Middleton); his former wife Janet (Reimund); his stepparents, Jake Wagner and Jo Gottschalk; his grandchildren, Victoria and Zachary; and his siblings, Randy Richmond, Cheryl Beale and George Gebers, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Patti Jo (Barth); his children, James, Amie Whitman, Beth Rosales (Rene), Benjamin Kistner, Joseph Kistner (Angela) and Melissa Rentz (Donnie); and his brothers, Mike Wagner (Kim), David Wagner (Bettey), Eric Wagner (Shelly) and Tony Richmond. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
