He was predeceased by: his father-in-law James "Hunker" Haas; and his brother-in-law David Conkright. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Blue and Louisa Blue (Wiemken); his wife Karren Haas; his children, Makalie Jorgensen (Mike) of Hamler, Denton Blue (Mackenzie) of Holgate, Ashton Kessler (Nathan) of Liberty Center, Marissa Lafontaine (Aaron "Barney") of New Riegel, Karigan Blue and Kalyn Blue of Hamler; his grandchildren, Aliza, Natalee, Jett, Cord Kessler, Hazel, Gavin Lafontaine, Kennedy and Carolyn Blue; his sisters, Brenda Conkright and Bethany Gable (Rick); his mother-in-law Ardyth Haas; his brothers-in-law, Darren Haas of Hamler and Gary Haas (Lisa) of Colorado; and his pets, Zada-Jane, Annie, Zoey and Winnie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and keepsakes the family would appreciate memories and photos shared on the Blue Strong Facebook Page or at [email protected]. The family suggests memorials be given to the family to be distributed to non-profit organizations and charities that Bruce loved to support and for a scholarship fund to be started in his memory.
