It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty M. Shade of Hamler, Ohio, born in Leipsic, Ohio, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Alt and Charlotte Alt (Ricker); her husband Robert E. Shade; her stepdaughter Deana Shade; her siblings, Edwin Alt (Leona), Melvin Alt (Vera) and Rosemary Schortgen (Charles); and her pets, Mytzee and Stormy.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Boes of Loveland, CO, Ron Peckinpaugh (Sharon) of Pemberville, Rhonda Rosebrock (Todd) of Milton, FL, E. Jay Peckinpaugh (Becky) of Napoleon and Sondra Garbers of Wauseon; and her stepsons, Woodie Shade of Toledo and Kirk Shade (Eileen) of Toledo. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
