She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Brock and Elizabeth Brock (Miller); her husband James Hayes; her son James D. Hayes; her brothers, Milton Brock and Golden Brock; her brother-in-law Eddie Shoemaker; and her siblings, Alice Miller, Fran McGrath and Donald Sponsel.
She is survived by: her children, Saundra "Sandy" Bond, Jamesetta "Jamie" Collins (Leon), Mironda Herrin, Daniel Hayes and Darrick Hayes; her grandchildren, Jason Bond, Dennis B. Hayes, Stacy Bond, Darrick Boyd (Morgan), Jarrick Hayes and Megan Hux; her great grandchildren, Searria, Malaki, Julian, Toteonna of Danishka, AJ, Jordan, Jameson, Laila Boyd, Lillie Boyd, Rachel Boyd and Jayse; her siblings, Virginia Shoemaker, Alberta Brock, Bernice Hart, Edward Brock (Cecil Faye), Louise Harris (Glenn) and Darlene Himes (Terry); and her sister-in-law Martha Brock. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
