He was predeceased by: his parents, Murphy Hughes and Lorene Wilcox Hughes; his son Dallas Hughes; and his sister Betty Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Rosie Howard Hughes; his children, Ronald Hughes, Donald Hughes (Tammy), Jerry Hughes and Terry Hughes of Camden, Ohio.; and his siblings, Ellis Hughes (Glenda) of Corbin and Anna Hughes of Middleton.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bowling Funeral Home (1704 N Main St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at the Hacker Cemetery.
