It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle H. Baynes of Hamilton, Ohio, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Baynes and Frances Baynes (Weaver); his wife Marguerite Zimmerer; his siblings, Gerald, Donald Baynes and Georgia Smith; his children-in-law, Peggy Baynes and Dan Trauthwein; his grandchildren, David Trauthwein, Ann Smith and Charlene Adkins; and his great grandchild Matthew Baynes.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Trauthwein of Bullhead City, Patty Seaton (Ken) of Hamilton, Donald Baynes (Gale) of Fairfield and Michael Baynes of Grandforks. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren; and other loving relatives and friends.
