She was predeceased by: her parents, Angela Laney and Beck Laney; her husband Kenneth Scheffel; and her siblings, Evelyn Williams (Frank), Rita Fishwick (Wendell), Millie Staarmann (Lou) and Don Laney (Shirley).
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Scheffel (Nancy), Elizabeth McDonald (Eddie) and Janice Denney (Robert); her grandchildren, Erica Poplin-Lovett (Chris), Emily Scheffel, Kate Denney, Bryan Scheffel (Stephanie), Darren McDonald (Kerri) and Daniel McDonald; her siblings, Lorraine Laney, Ray Laney (late Janet), Melba Miller (late Joe), Bill Laney (Donna) and Jim Laney; and her siblings-in-law, Fred Scheffel (Peggy), Mark Scheffel (Wilda), Elaine Morningstar and Gary Scheffel (Robin). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
