She was predeceased by: her parents, Abigail Hesselbrock (Dinwiddie) and Richard Cory; her stepfather Ray Hesselbrock; her husband Lou Smith; her son Ronald Smith; and her brother Robert Cory.
She is survived by: her friend Ronald Beach; her sons, Ray Smith (Karen) and Alan Smith (Cindy); her grandchildren, Darcy Mamutse, Christy Sanchez (Jose Luis), Joey Smith (Lisa), Justin Smith and Jeremy Smith; and her sisters, Phyllis Holstein and Verla Shields (Rick). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
