He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Borup Sr. and Louise Mitchell (Steiger); his sister Cindy Adams (Lenard); his granddaughter Cindy Story; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Smith (David), Kay Brewer, Francis Lewis, James Lewis and Cecil Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Borup; his sister Ann Tucker; his daughters, Brenda Grizzle (Randall) and Anna Story; his grandchildren, James Grizzle (Caroline), Randy Grizzle (Amber), Gabrielle Gagnon, Eddie Story and Brittany Story; his great grandchildren, Starr Gagnon, Elijah Grizzle, Isaac Needham, Junior Gagnon, Zoey Grizzle and Marshall Rose; his siblings-in-law, Janie Hammons (Bill), Sandra Livingston (Mike), Connie Sue Staples Connie (Bob), Donna Lewis and Bill Lewis; and his brothers, Butch Applegate (Alice), Marvin Chavis, Gill Garrett, Albert Smith, Gaston Bowling, Danny Murphy and Jeff.
