He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Thoene and Freida Thoene (Schroeder); and his brother Wilhelm Thoene. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Thoene (Blood); his daughters, Barb Brayton and Deborah Traxler (Joseph); and his grandchildren, Gregory Brayton, Rachel Lommatzsch (Nickolas), Davey Brayton (Samantha), Derek Price (Maria), Lindsey Hurst (Caleb) and Carly Hildebrandt (Troy). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
