She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitt McCoy and Bessie McCoy (Watson); her husband Robert Shoemaker; her children, Jan Hines and Gillis Shoemaker; her grandchildren, Bethany, Michelle and Gillis; and her great grandchild Alexis.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Shoemaker (Louetta) and David Shoemaker (Sharon). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
