He is survived by: his wife Janet Tucker-James; his daughters, Vanessa Bryant of Middletown and Breianna Bryant of West Union, Ohio; and his siblings, Mark Bryant of Cincinnati, Steve Bryant of Cincinnati and Barbara Wilson of Hamersville, Ohio.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
