It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles A. Marcum of Hamersville, Ohio, born in Jonesville, Virginia, who passed away on May 5, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Marcum and Myrtle Marcum; and his brother J. B. Marcum. He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Marcum; his children, Gregory Marcum (Lisa) of Hamersville and Rebecca Ramey (Steve) of Danville, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Jackson Marcum (Holly Momper), Andrew Marcum (Michael Lewis), Robert Lewis (Daniel Lewis), Olivia Marcum, John David, Caroline Lewis, Aslynn Lewis, Matthew and Harper Lewis; and also, Kaiden, Raven and Isabell Momper. He is also survived by several in laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials in his honor may be made to the Mercy Heart Institute Heart Failure Program.
