It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanetta Nelson (Hamden, Ohio), born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on December 27, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Syrus and Rosa Elizabeth Nay Riffle; her children, Judy (Glen Hale) of Vinton County, Barbara Brown (Joe) of Albany, Brenda Prater (Bruce) of Hamden and John Nelson of Vinton County; her sisters-in-law, Mary Barnett, Pat Nelson and Wanda Nelson; her granddaughter Bridget Prater; her great grandchild Zane Clevinger; and her parent-in-law John. She was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
