He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Thomas, Susan Ausec (Jerry) of Colorado and Kelley Coleman (Ken); his mother-in-law Ruth Claar of Hamden; his brother-in-law Mike Claar (Mary) of Hamden; his nieces and nephews, Mindy Coleman and Chris Ausec; his son Troy; and also, Angie Knox, Melissa Hendershott, Michael Claar and Adam Claar. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
