He is survived by: his children, Lisa Downard (Joshua Coleman) of Hamden, Michael Downard (Katie Clemmings) of McArthur and Hope Biller of Columbus; and his brother Steve Downard (Sue) of Radcliff. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
