It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Garnette Maynard (Hamden, Ohio), who passed away on April 25, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Garnette Maynard to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Burchett and Cella Riddle Burchett; her husband Tony Maynard; and her siblings, Laura Sesco, Cora Lowe, Goldie Johnson, Jetta Robinette, Katherine Parson, Jimmy Burchett, Floyd Burchett and Marvin Burchett.

She is survived by: her siblings, Inez Varney of Kentucky and William Burchett of Kentucky. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Garnette requested contributions in her memory be given to the Freedom Baptist Church, 198 Orville Brown Road, Jackson, Ohio 45640.

“I am so sorry to read about the passing of dear Garnette. Her and Tony were such good neighbors to us when they lived in Taylor, Michigan. We communicated in yearly Christmas cards till 2017 when her card was return to sender. I thought then she passed. Kept the card and did a search. Finally found her. I assume she was at some kind of care facility. May she rest in peace. Her and Tony are together again. She always told me how much she missed him.”
