He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Carrington and Louise Reed Carrington; his stepfather Carl Littlejohn; his former wife Carolyn Overly Clark; and his wife Lendal Sharon Conley Carrington.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Carrington (Brenda) of Pomeroy and Cary Carrington of Hamden; his sister Genevieve Case of McArthur; and his nephews, Ronald Case of McArthur and Donald Case of McArthur. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name can be given to the American Legion Post 371, 1001 South Pennsylvania Avenue, Wellston, Ohio 45692.
