He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Wayne and Vergie Johnson Leonard; his wife Elizabeth Ann Waldron Leonard; his children, Jeff Leonard and Ryann Harmon; his brother Charles Leonard; and his grandson Jeth Leonard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Hughes (Christopher) of Columbus, Rebekah Holton (Ken) of Richmond Hill, Georgia and Amy Robinson (Brian) of Columbus; his sisters, Rita Salyers (Jimmy) of Jackson, Debbie Shephard of Oak Hill and Mary McGlone (Larry) of Oak Hill; his son-in-law Danny Harmon of Hamden; and his caregiver Jean Krack of Hamden. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
