He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Bill, Wanetta Nelson, George Calvin Brown and Cathy Rose Blackstock; and his uncle Randall Matteson.
He is survived by: his parents, Robert Shane Blackstock Jr. and Katie Marie Blackstock (Nelson) of Hamden; his brother Daxton Shane Blackstock; his grandparents, Becky, Tom Reed of Hamden, John Nelson, Shane, Betty Blackstock of Wellston and Tasha Wickline of Arizona; his great-grandparents, Kathryn Matteson of Hamden, Robert, Dorothy Reed of McArthur, Arlene Lewis of Kentucky, Harold and Jeanie Blackstock of Jackson; and his great-great-grandparent Myrtle Adkins of Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles, family members and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to them to help with monument expenses.
