He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Kayser and Pearl Swisher Kayser; his wife Rosemary Slusher Kayser; his brother John Kayser; and his siblings-in-law, Myrle Griffin, Meta Lawson (Doc) and Jenkins "Jenks" Slusher (Leslie Slusher).
He is survived by: his daughter Ruth Anne; his son-in-law Greg Gilders of Guysville; his grandchildren, Nathan Gilders (Yvonne) of Guysville and Cate Young (Mike) of Cary, NC; his great grandchildren, Dodge Gilders and Eva Young; his sister Mary Jo Griffin of Coolville; and his sisters-in-law, Dee Kayser of Lima and Connie Quivey (Rodney) of Burlingham. He is also survived by fifteen nieces and one nephew.
