She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred "Poppy" Whitt and Edith Whitt (Horton); her husband Carl Pennington; and her siblings, Fred Carl Whitt, Mauverine Kegley (Thurman), Irene Kidd (Ray), Hortense Fannin (Denzil), Delma Prater (Carl) and Rebecca Hitch Winkleman.
She is survived by: her children, Fred (Leona), Barbara Delong (Roger), Glen (Tammy), Anthony (Diane), Ed (Wanda), Brenda (Robert), Carol Sams (Rick), Jason (Christi) and Johnathan (Kari); and her siblings, Aubrey Whitt (Evalina), Marmett Fannin Hitch, Lucille Pennington Debord and Barbara Reynolds (Guy). She is also survived by 32 grandchildren; and 39 great grandchildren.
