He was predeceased by: his parents, Alta Scott (Hackney) and Richard Scott; his son William Stephey; and his siblings, Ronnie, Lacy, Tracy, Harold and Charlie Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Talbott); his sons, Ivan Stephey and Jimmy Stephey (Abigail); and his sister Patricia Howell. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
