He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Deckard and Goldie Deckard (Meridith); his wife Rose Lamberson; his son Donald Deckard Jr.; and his siblings, Bud Deckard, Ralph Deckard (Sylvia), Leroy Deckard (Betty), Ray Deckard, Bobby Deckard, Georgie Faye Deckard and Grace Ann Deckard.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Simonin (Alvin) of Grover Hill and Ron Deckard (Leona) of Pandora; his grandchildren, Casey Brown (Joe), Brian Eblin (Angie), Lukis Deckard, Lilyan, Izabella, Kastin, Marlie, Caydon, Addisen and Alyssa; and his siblings, Johnny Deckard (Diane) of Benton, Arkansas, Jeanie Bolenbaugh (Rick) of Grover Hill and Betty Hudson of Peidmont.
