He is survived by: his children, Angela Carpenter and Robert Carpenter, Jr.; his grandchildren, Alisha Purvis, Megan Carpenter, Kayln Boyd, Jonathan Smyers and Elias Bencosine; his great grandchild Jakobi Kendall Lewis; his nieces and nephews, Ulee, Leenah, Kendall Stark, Keith Rogers and Jimmy Rogers; and his sister-in-law Sicha Carpenter.
