He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Needs; his brother Francis Needs; his daughter Marilyn Needs; and his grandchildren, Matthew Needs and Angela Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Needs, Nancy Moore, Daniel Needs (Peggy) and Mark Needs (Cheryl). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; four sisters; nieces and nephews.
