He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Chalfan and Harriet Chalfan; his siblings, Joe Chalfan and Patricia Bowe; his nieces, Donna Buchanan and Diana Wildermuth; and his nephew Greg Chalfan.
He is survived by: his brother Carl Chalfan (Chris); and his nieces and nephews, Brenda Knipp (Bub), Debbie Young, Peggy Duty (Jerry), Kevin Bowe (Connie), Mike Bowe (Becky), Jeff Bowe (Chery), Jim Bowe (Beth) and Michael Chalfan (Summer). He is also survived by numerous great nieces and great nephews; numerous family members and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home (587 Main St, Groveport, OH 43125). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Green Lawn Cemetery - Nelsonville (15550 Twp-36, Nelsonville, OH 45764).
