He is survived by: his wife Celina Ericka Sommer (Melo); his sons, Mark Andrew Sommer Jr. and Louis Frederick Sommer III (Vera); his grandson John Robert Sommer; and his sister Mary Ann Davis (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
