He was predeceased by: his parents, B. Wavileen Fairchild and John G. Fairchild; and his brothers, Jack, Douglas and Craig.

He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Matthew (Audrey) and Dianna; his grandchildren, Noah, Jacob, Scarlett, Anna and Parker; and his brother Bill. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
