He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon Whitten; his sister Elizabeth Whitten; and his son Talan John. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly; his children, John Delwyn (Emily Stellar), Jenna and Teagan Whitten; his father John Irwin; his sister Christine Petty; his siblings-in-law, Matthew Petty, Matt Ambrosino and Kelly Ambrosino; his parents-in-law, Skip and Judy Morgan; his aunt Cheryl Landon (Dennis); his uncle Michael Eagleson (Barb); his nieces and nephews, Mandi Lawson (Jacob), Hannah Fields, Grace Ambrosino, Zach Petty (Jaycie), Ethan Fields and Joesph Ambrosino; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lillian Grace, Sadie Mae, Oliver Reid (Olliepop) and Ivy Elizabeth; and his pets, Steel, Koda and Rosie. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, friends and well-wishers are kindly invited to make donations in Johnny's memory. Contributions can be directed to either Nationwide Children's Hospital to support their crucial work, or to the American Cancer Society, as Johnny's mother was tragically lost to the disease.
