Duty of Groveport, Ohio, born in Bee, Virginia, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Fonda; his wife Patricia; and his siblings, Annalee Evans, Norman, Ray and Gary Duty.

He is survived by: his children, Belinda Kerns-Hutter, Diana Davison (Thomas), Patty Igou (Chris) and John Duty; his grandchildren, Max, Joey Kerns, Jeni Jonas, Thomas Davison, Jami, Jessica, Christopher, Asiah, Matthew and Shawn; and his great grandchildren, Jaden Kerns, Zachary Jonas, Cameron Jonas, Selenia, Aubrey, Laveda, Hazel, Raylene, Cynthia, Landon, Aden, Aarika, Zoie, Elysia, Wyatt, Atreyu, Kyra, Tawni and Elijah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the South Chapel (1346 S High St, Columbus, OH 43207). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
