It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Emogene Rose of Groveport, Ohio, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Sanson and Effie Sanson; her husband Jerry Dean Rose; her son Randal Rose; her siblings, Kenneth (Bethal), Eugene (Pricy), Jasper Sanson, Janlee Whitt (Lloyd), Dorothy Wolford (Carl) and Othella Daughtery (Cecil); and her sister-in-law Geraldine Sanson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Sweazy (Bill) and Carol Rose (James Chapman); her grandchildren, Joshua Hoffman (Tiffany), Alesha Rose (David Shephard), Mark Sanson (Karen), Jessica Giddens, Joselin Powell, Charles Knece, Jerry Rose, Randy, Travis Sweazy and Sara Burchett; her great grandchildren, Jayonna Collins, Breonna, Ellieonna Hoffman, Jasper Burchett, Noah, Lexi, Rayla Giddens, Madison, Landyn and Zoe Sanson; her brothers, Frank Sanson (Betty) and Wayne Sanson; her sister-in-law Leona Sanson; and her nephew Carl Gene Wolford. She is also survived by many nieces nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the South Chapel (1346 S High St, Columbus, OH 43207). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
