He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley M. Martin and Ronald B. Tanner; and his brother Ronald "Bill" Tanner. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Tanner; his children, Ashley M. Tanner (Keith Elias), Courtney D. Tanner and Quentin J. Tanner (Dasiah Beaver); his grandsons, Michael R. Edenfield and Dalton I. Mallory; and his sisters, Debi L. Smeltzer (Jay), Linda L. Tanner-Ibitoye (Gideon) and Sandy J. Foster (Jim). He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews.
