He was predeceased by: his father Hugh Compton (Ben); his wife Betty Lou Compton (Bryan); his daughter Tammy; and his brother Lewis Compton. He is survived by: his son H. Rick Compton (Vicki); his grandsons, Scot Compton (Gina) and Nick Compton (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Camryn, Blake and Harper; his brothers, Bill Compton (Sharon) and Clyde Compton (Constance); and his sister-in-law Cathy Compton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
