He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sr. Fergus and Beulah Fergus; his former wife Myrtle Fergus; his grandson Eric J. W. Hagar; and his mother-in-law Allene Forester.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Fergus; his children, Tom Fergus, Constance Fergus, Robert Cooper (Ruth) and Shelly Cooper (Darnel); his grandchildren, Christen, Ella, Marie, Jessica (Adrianna), Steve (Ingrid), Gabby, Michaela (Jimmy), Amy and Daylin; and his great grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, Samuel, Lewis, Brandon and William. He is also survived by family members and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Church of the Messiah Missions are encouraged.
