With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva Phillips (Groveport, Ohio), born in Newberry, Michigan, who passed away on August 10, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Boston Hood and Edith Hood (Pritchard); her husband Harold "Pete"; her son Peter Joseph "Joey"; her grandson Zachary "Zach" Eakin; and her siblings, Leonard Hood, Luella Verrett, Ernest Hood, Ruth Hood, Henry Alfred Hood, James Hood, Lenis Hood, Arbutus Hood, Clifford Hood and Gerald Hood.
She is survived by: her children, Candy White (Steve), Patty Eakin (Pat), Sandy Newsome (Frank) and Spike Phillips (Judi); her niece Kay Mahar; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Cordell (Paul), Leisha White, Taz Newsome (Katie), Julie De Voe (Tyler), Erica Lovell (Jonathon), Luke Phillips and Paige Phillips. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
