It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Nichols Jr. of Groveport, Ohio, born in Pilgrim, Kentucky, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Nichols and Elizabeth Nichols; his wife Penny; his sons, Brian, Clyde Ray and Jeff Nichols; and his siblings, Larry Thomas, Gary, Ricky, Jimmy Nichols, Lois Ann Nichols, Dorothy Porter, Betty Jo Vermillion, Dianna Gilman and Louisa Nichols.
He is survived by: his children, Bernice, Robert (Clotina), Donita and Becky Nichols; his grandchildren, Ashley, Lil Rob, Jeffery, Monica "PeeWee", Chelsea, Matthew, Brian, Kayla, Justin, Aalavia "Lay", Felix "Buddy Boy", Lucas, Sierra and Chris; his great grandchildren, Katie, Maddy, Ashlynn, Ray and Zyi; his close friends, Anniyah, Amira, Kinsley, Andrew, Kyzer and Tyreek Charles; and his siblings, Ronnie Nichols, Brenda Starr, Tammy Owens, Annetta Maynard, Darlene Justice and Judy Nichols. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
