It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Hougland (Groveport, Ohio), born in Vinton, Ohio, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leland "Bud" Webb and Charlene Webb; her husband John; her children, J. Eric Hougland (Laura) of Chester, VA and Kara Scarberry of Gahanna; her grandchildren, Katey Hougland, Chelsea and Caleb Scarberry; her stepgrandchildren, Gracie and Max Dho; her sister Jane Cleland (Bill) of Racine, Ohio; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Harris (Bill) of Jackson, Ohio. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Groveport Zion Lutheran Church 6014 Groveport Rd., Groveport, Ohio 43125 "For The Sue Hougland Youth Fund" (to be created) and will be appreciated.
