William Dawson Obituary

We bid farewell to William Dawson (Grove City, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 29, 2024 at the age of 67. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dawson and Rita (Wolfe); his siblings, Paul Dawson, Mary Dawson and Ruth (Yellowhawk); his father-in-law Joseph Rosati; and his pet Darby.

He is survived by: his significant other Jodi; his children, Haley and Joe; his daughter-in-law Della (Lovell); his grandchildren, Oliver, Sam and Camyrn; his siblings, Bob, Mark, Annie (Gease), Patty (Keel), John and Margie (Orahood); his mother-in-law Dee Rosati; and his siblings-in-law, George Gease, Gary Orahood, Jim Yellowhawk, Michael Rosati, Bill Morgan, Pat Wright, Larry Risolio, Jason Bouwman, Nancy (Dawson), Kathy (Dawson), Shelley (Morgan), Sue Ann Rosati, Annette (Wright), Denise Rosati, Patti Stephens and Renee Rosati. He is also survived by 100 nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.

Bill was also the ambassador for Scott's Miracle-Gro Foundation GRO1000, traveling all over the country and Mexico bringing green spaces to communities in most need.
